I partnered with Konnekt to bring this vision to life from refining the brand identity to designing a scalable, responsive platform. Our work included UX research, information architecture, UI design, and custom interactions that made browsing and hiring feel intuitive. Every design decision was made to reduce time-to-hire and build trust with both clients and talent.
Konnekt set out to simplify the way product, UX, and brand teams connect with top-tier design talent. As the freelance market grew increasingly saturated and unvetted, the team saw an opportunity to build a curated, high-trust platform tailored to startups and fast-moving companies. The goal? A frictionless way to find and hire exceptional creatives without the usual complexity.

The Challenge
Konnekt aimed to position itself as a trusted design talent platform, but it entered a market crowded with freelance networks, generic job boards, and talent marketplaces with bloated UX. The challenge was to carve out a distinct identity while building a user journey that felt faster, smarter, and more human.
The platform needed to serve two distinct audiences, clients hiring designers and creatives looking for work without overwhelming either side. That meant creating a seamless flow, defining a clear content hierarchy, and designing a system that scaled across mobile and desktop. We also had to ensure the interface inspired trust.

The Solution
To address the friction in user experience, we redesigned the Konnekt platform around two distinct user journeys — one for clients and one for designers. Instead of a generic homepage, users now land on a focused hero section that immediately offers two clear paths: “I’m Hiring Designers” and “I’m Looking for Work.” This segmentation ensures each audience reaches relevant content without unnecessary steps or confusion.
Beyond restructuring the landing experience, we implemented custom paths tailored to each group’s goals. Clients gain quick access to browse vetted talent and submit briefs, while designers are guided through curated opportunities and an application process built around transparency and flexibility. This dual-path approach eliminated drop-offs, improved conversion, and laid the foundation for scalable, role-specific growth.
